Hockey, Asian Champions Trophy, Pk beats China

CHENNAI: In the 4th match of Asian Champions Trophy played on Monday (7th of August, 2023) hockey team of Pakistan defeated China 2-1.

Sufiyan Khan of Pakistan struck the first goal in the 20th minute of the match.

Jiesheng Gao of China scored the equalizer in the 33rd minute of the match.

The last match of the match was scored by Pakistan’s Afraz in the 39th minute of the match.

This was the first win by Pakistan, that drew 3-3 against Japan a day earlier.

If Pakistan manages to defeat Indian Hockey Team in 9th of August match, it will qualify for the semis.
