ISLAMABAD: Muslims observed the 1500th birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on Saturday (6th Sept, 2025).
The day commenced with 31 gun salute here and a 21 gun salute in provincial capitals. This year special arrangements were chalked out to commemorate the year 1447 Hijri as the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). International Seerat Conference was held at Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad. Prominent scholars from Pakistan and abroad participated in the event.
A national “Qur’an and Seerat Exhibition” was held, manifesting manuscripts, publications, and digital content related to the Qur’an-o-Seerat. Mehfil-e-Naat was held at Pakistan National Council of Arts here. Milad processions were taken out in all major cities. Mehafil-e-Milad were also organized. Green light and flags have inundated the batiments all over Pakistan.
