Illegal structure at Lahore’s Khokhar Palace bulldozed

LAHORE: Govt. has bulldozed the illegal construction at  Khokhar Palace, the Johar Town house of Senior Vice President PML-N (Lahore) Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar and MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar, here today.  

Vice President PML-N Maryam Nawaz stated: “One law for the powerful that legalizes the illegal palace of Bani Gala, the other law for the opponents from which the house of the opposition is not safe from evil. When oppression goes too far, it disappears. Greetings to all the comrades who were avenged for the crime of supporting Nawaz Sharif Every injustice will be accounted for!”

According to details authorities pulled thirteen shops and a number of temporary huts down in order to recover 27,225 square yards of land that officials was encroached upon. The main Khokhar Palace, built on 79,255 square yards, was left intact.

Khokhar, commenting on today’s action termed it political motivated as LHC had issued a restraining order on the matter.

PML maintained: “The Khokhar brothers were targeted for standing with Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. Usman Buzdar use your mind instead of following the instructions of Imran Niazi. Tomorrow you too will come into opposition and prepare yourself to face this fate.”

PML (N)’s Khawaja Saad Rafique has taken to the Twitter to state:عمران خان اگر تم سمجھتے ہو اس سے تمہارے اقتدار کو طول ملے گا تو یہ غلط فہمی نکال دو کہ ہمارے گھر جلیں گے ہمارے گھروں کو گرا دو گے میڈیا کو دھکے دو پورے ملک میں بدمعاشی کا راج قائم کرو گے تو اس کا دینا نہیں آئے اس کا دینا تو آئے گا پہلوں نے بھی دیا ہے اور آپکو بھی دینا پڑے گا.

He warned PM Imran Khan that he will have to pay for his acts and should forget that such acts would prolong his power…“While begging for our cooperation you demolish the houses of our MNA and MPA?”
