RAWALPINDI: According to ISPR an exchange of fire took place across the LoC between the troops of India and Pakistan last night in the Neza Pir Sector. No casualties were reported.
ISPR statement said that Indian soldiers resorted to heavy unprovoked firing and shelling but Pakistani troops gave a befitting response.
Six months ago a similar cross-border firing was reported. Both the states accuse each other for violating the border ceasefire agreement signed in 2003.
