ISLAMABAD: Italian Envoy H.E. Marilina Armellin has called on Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb here on Monday (20th May, 2024).
During the rendezvous H.E. Marilina Armellin acknowledged the Pakistan’s indicators and appreciated the upward trend in the country’s economy.
H.E. noted that there was a great possibility of augmenting trade between the two friendly countries, specially in the textile, machinery, agriculture, and dairy sectors.
Finance Minister, holding that there was a policy shift from aid to investment, told her that the present government was committed to privatize various State-Owned Enterprises, for instance PIA and major airports.
