BALTIMORE: Due to termination of $800 millions in grant to the non-profit Johns Hopkins University by Trump administration, the prestigious institution will have to slash 2000+ jobs in forty-five countries (including United States of America).
Commenting on the development Johns Hopkins University stated: “This is a difficult day for our entire community. The termination of more than $800 million in USAID funding is now forcing us to wind down critical work here in Baltimore and internationally.”
It is pertinent to mention here that Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health, medical school and affiliated non-profit for international health, Jhpiego, will be impacted by the stopping of eight hundred million dollars grant.
