Kashmiris to observe Accession to Pakistan Day tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control and rest of the world will observe Accession to Pakistan Day tomorrow (Wednesday) with a renewed pledge to continue the struggle for freedom from the Indian occupation.

The day is observed on July 19 every year to commemorate the historic resolution adopted from the platform of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference in Srinagar in 1947, demanding Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan in accordance with the partition plan.

On July 19, 1947, the Kashmiris adopted a historic resolution demanding accession of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan in accordance with the Partition Plan and two-nation theory.

Meanwhile, Black Day against the recent atrocities being committed by the Indian Occupied forces in the Held Kashmir will also be observed.
