KUNAR (Afghanistan): According to reliable sources a key leader of outlawed TTP, Abdul Mannan aka Hakeemullah, was neutralized here on Wednesday (19th June, 2024).
Mannan, who joined TTP in 2007, gradually climbed the ladder in the terrorist outfit and became a member of Malakand Shura.
Reckoned as the right hand of top leader Azmatullah Mehsud, Mannan was involved in extortion to fund TTP activities, carried out landmine blasts in Bajaur and attacked security check-posts.
