D. I. KHAN: Security forces have neutralised seven militants here on Monday (15th December, 2025).
According to details, exchange of fire during an IOB, claimed life of Naik Yasir Khan. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants who were involved in a number of terrorists activities here.
Militants constantly attack LEA personnel in KP and Balochistan. Pakistani armed forces too incessantly carry out operations to contain the menace. For instance, 2 militants were neutralised by security forces when they attacked the Army-run Cadet College Wana here on 10th Nov, 2025.
The militants, failing to enter the premises, rammed an explosives-laden vehicle against the main gate of the college. Three of them managed to enter the campus but they were cornered in the administration block. There were 650 people, including 525 cadets, inside the college at the time of attack. According to sources, the suicide blast carried out by the militants was so colossal that it badly damaged 12 houses and injured 16 civilians.
