D. I. KHAN (KP): An IED attack on their vehicle claimed lives of ASI Gul Alam, Constable Rafiq and Driver Sakhi Jan within the jurisdiction of Paniyala PS here on Wednesday (3rd Dec, 2025).
Citoyens of the provinces of KP and Balochistan are constantly facing such attacks on daily basis. The LEA’s too incessantly retaliate. For instance, Counter Terrorism Department of Kohat and Karak Police had neutralised four militants in two operations carried out on 13th/14th Nov, 2025. According to details the militants neutralised on Thursday night were identified as Muhammad Qasim, Shahid and Sahir alias Pata, who were involved in 17th Sept ambush on security barrier that claimed life of Constable Younis. Militant Sahir was also involved in shooting down Constable Bahadur during 6th Oct. attack on a police check post in Tor Chappar. Sources have informed that Station House Officer was shot at while patrolling at 1.22 AM. In the ensuing exchange of fire three militants were neutralised. Another militant was gunned down by CTD in the Banda Daud Shah area of Karak District on 13th November. The law enforcers were conducting an operation when militants opened fire at them.
Eight militants had been neutralised during an exchange of fire here on 22nd Nov, 2025. According to ISPR: “Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed India-sponsored Khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against… The operation underscores the strengthened collaborative efforts between LEAs and security forces, who have significantly intensified intelligence-driven operations in the region. These meticulously coordinated and synchronised security measures are designed to constrict the operational mobility of Khawarij elements, systematically dismantle their facilitation networks, and curtail their capacity to reorganise.Operations are producing substantial and measurable success with continuous efforts to achieve more peace and stability.”
Nine people had been gunned down and two construction site excavator drivers abducted in the province on 9th November, 2025. According to details, in the Sarbund area of Kalat, gunmen killed four people identified as tribal leader Shakir Saadullah Langove, his brother Shakir Khairullah Langove, Muhammad Karim and Muhammad Zahir. In Panjgur, two more people identified as Muhammad Zafar and Muhammad Naeem were shot dead by unknown assailants. Local authorities are investigating the incident trying to figure out the motive behind the murders that took place in Shpistan area of Balochistan.
In Goth Misri Khan situated in the Kachhi district, armed men shot Abdul Qadir Kurd dead. In Chagai District’s Dalbandin area, near DHQ, tribal Sardar Hussain was killed. Two excavator operators, who were employed by a construction entity, were kidnapped from Nasirabad District’s Notal PS area. Drivers were identified as Aashiq Ali Mohammad Hasni and Shakeel Ahmed Korai. Killing and abducting of workers has become a norm of life in Balochistan. Security forces carried out an IOB, neutralized 14 militants, and injured 20 others, in Balochistan’s Zehri area on 4th Oct, 2025.
