MAKKAH: Berlin-based European-Saudi Organisation for Human Rights has condemned on Monday (15th July, 2024) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for carrying out ‘one execution almost every two days.‘
With the beheading of two drug traffickers (a Pakistani and a Saudi) here on Thursday (18th of July, 2024) KSA has executed 106 people (including 7 Pakistanis) in the first 200 days of this year.
Of the 170 people beheaded last year (2023), thirty-three were killed for terrorism. Towards the end of 2022, KSA has recommenced executing the drug-traffickers after a break of three years.
