LAHORE: Justice Aalia Neelum has become the first woman CJ of LHC in its 142-year old history here on Thursday (11th July, 2024) when Punjab Governor Saleem Haider Khan administered the oath to her.

Justice Aalia Neelum will now be serving as LHC’s 47th CJ since 1920 and 54th overall since 21st of March, 1882, when this judicial entity was called the Chief Court of Lahore.
