MUMBAI: A 35-year-old Indian man brutally murdered 14 family members, including seven children and his parents, before killing himself, here on Sunday.
“He used a big knife to kill his parents, his sisters and his sisters’ children slitting their throats”, police spokes person Kabdule said. “The attack began before the dawn, after everyone had fallen asleep”, he further added.
Reports suggest that Hasnin Warekar laced his family’s food with sedatives and drugs.
The screaming of the man’s sister alerted neighbors. She survived luckily but is in deep trauma,
The victims’ bodies were discovered in the man’s home. However, the motive of the murder is yet unknown.
