Mani all set to be elected the new Chairman PCB today!

LAHORE: Ehsan Mani is all set to be elected the new Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board here tomorrow, Tuesday at a special meeting of the Board of Governors of PCB.
“PCB’s Election Commissioner Justice (R) Afzal Haider after the formation of Board of Governors (BoGs) has announced the schedule of the election and a special meeting has been called and election commissioner with deputy election commissioner Ahmed Shahzad Farooq Rana will hold the election,” said a spokesman of the PCB on Monday.
He said if the candidate appears to be elected unopposed, then notification will be issued immediately as the proceedings of other steps will become redundant.
The PCB BOG comprises the following, Ehsan Mani (Patron’s Nominee), Asad Ali Khan (Patron’s Nominee), Lt. Gen (R) Muzamil Hussain – Chairman WAPDA, Dr. Najeeb Samie – Director HBL, Muhammad Ayaz Butt, Director Sports KRL, Lt. Gen (R) Javed Zia, Chairman SSGC, Murad Ismail, President RCA Quetta/Member BOG, Shahrez Abdullah Khan, President LRCA/Member BOG, Kabir Ahmed Khan – President RCA FATA/Member BOG and Capt (R) Jahanzeb Khan, Secretary Ministry of IPCA.
