KARACHI: Meezan Bank Ltd. & Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) signed a MoU through which MBL Debit Card holders will now be able to enjoy 35% discount on state of the art lab & diagnostic services provided by AMTF.
The MOU was signed by Shariq Mubeen, Head Of ADC Services from MBL side and Dr. Asim Qidwai, Founder & CEO from AMTF side, in the presence of Ahmad Ali Siddiqui, Head Of PDSC, Fayyaz Ur Rehman, Product Manager PDSC and Muhammad Sohail Raza, Product Manager Debit Card and Alliance Services from MBL and Ateeq Ur Rehman, Executive Director, RehanYaseen, Finance Secretary, Mr. MazharQasim, Corporate Coordinator, Mr. Umair Ali, Marketing Officer and Mr. Muhammad Ashraf, Lab Incharge from AMTF.
AMTF is providing free of cost treatment facilities to more than 1400 Thalassemia & Blood Disorders Patients at par with International Standards.
Corporate Sector is now recognizing AMTF quality services and confidence of MBL on AMTF is an example. AMTF is located on main Shahrah e Jahangir near Ayesha Manzil.

Emil Wyss had distinguished himself as a philanthropist during his tenure here as Swiss Consul General. After taking early retirement from the Swiss foreign affairs ministry in July this year, Emil Wyss chose to visit Pakistan as his first international tourist destination. Several leading Pakistani businessmen and social elites hosted numerous networking events in his honor which were well attended by diplomats, expatriates, politicians, and media representatives. During his week-long Karachi and Hyderabad visit Emil Wyss attended as many as 30 events: “Because of exceptional and world-class Pakistani hospitality, my heart is half red as a Swiss and half green as a Pakistani. “After finishing my assignment as Consul General, I decided to come back again in August 2017 to celebrate 70 years of Pakistan Independence Day with my Pakistani friends”.
