BAJAUR (KP): Security forces have neutralised four militants during operations carried out here on 17th and 18th November, 2025.
Two more militants were gunned down during IBOs conducted in Spinwam and Zakir Khel areas of N. Waziristan. Another militant was gunned down in an encounter in DI Khan. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militants who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in these areas.

Militants incessantly carry out attacks on Pakistani targets. Their ambushes face resistance by security forces. For instance, on 17th Oct, a suicide attack on a military camp in Mir Ali area here has been foiled by security forces. At first a suicide bomber crashed an IED-laden vehicle against the wall of the military camp. Following that three terrorists attempted to enter the batiment. But all three were prevented from entering and were neutralised.
Sixteen militants, who were trying to enter Ghulam Khan Kallay in N. Waziristan through Pak-Afghan border on the morning of 23rd March, had been neutralised by security forces.According to details Pakistani security forces engaged the militants attempting to infiltrate and after an exchange of fire, shot sixteen of them dead. It is pertinent to mention here that Islamabad believes that Afghanistan-based TTP militants infiltrate and attack targets in Pakistan. It has repeatedly asked Interim Taliban Government in Kabul to contain terrorists’ safe heaven and ensure effective border control.
During an exchange of fire between Pakistani troops and Khwarij six militants were neutralized in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan on Saturday (5th October, 2024). During the exchange of fire Lt Col Muhammad Ali Shaukat, who was leading the operation against the khwarij, paid the ultimate price along-with five soldiers (31-year-old Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah from Khyber; 30-year-old Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman from Lakki Marwat; 29-year-old Lance Naik Shahid Ullah from Tank; 31-year-old Lance Naik Yusaf Ali from Orkazai; 26-year-old Sepoy Jameel Ahmed, a resident of Swat.)
