Moon turns day into night over Indonesia: Solar Eclipse

INDONESIA: A complete solar eclipse was witnessed by thousands here and the Pacific when moon clogged the sun on Wednesday.

A pall of gloom fell onto most parts of the region as the eclipse commenced at 6.19 local time (23:19 GMT) when the moon clogged the sunlight turning day into night.

Experts have warned onlookers to avoid witnessing the phenomenon with naked or via binoculars.
