NAB independent institution: PTI Punjab leader

SIALKOT: PTI Central Punjab president Umer Dar said on Wednesday that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was an independent institution and the PTI government would not interfere in its official matters.

Addressing a press conference here at Jinnah House, he said the incumbent government was in favour of independent National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for across the board accountability.

Umer Dar said that effective economic policies of the government were bearing the fruits and the desired results, besides bringing day by day betterment in economic indicators.

He said that the PTI government was fully aware of people problems and the government was making all out sincere efforts to raise the living standard of the people.

He disclosed that three-day long colourful Jashan-e-Baharaan celebrations (spring festival) would begin in Sialkot on March 21, saying that different stalls, Lok Mela, Food Corners, Folk Music, Mehfil-e-Mushaira, cultural Mela etc would be set up.
