KATHMANDU: Oli, the PM of Nepal, resigned when Police killed 20 citoyens, injured 100 protesting against rampant corruption and nepotism being carried out by those at the helm of affairs.
While government failed to contain corruption and punish the culprits, youth suffering from 20% unemployment, opted to take to the streets. Despite imposition of an indefinite curfew in the capital, protesters stormed the office of the (political party) Nepali Congress, torched the parliament building, homes and offices of prominent politicians.
