RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has said that Pakistan army has always upheld the proud tradition of leading from the front, regardless of the cost.
He said this during his visit to Pakistan Military Academy Kakul on Monday.
The army chief appreciated ongoing improvements in the training and administrative facilities for cadets.
“The visit was focused on reviewing the current training regime for cadets and PMA’s capacity enhancement projects including the inauguration of 4th Pakistan Battalion,” said Pakistan army’s media wing.
Speaking on the occasion, COAS emphasised on the need for future leadership to focus on their all round professional grooming.
The COAS said that with an enhanced degree of professional ethos, pride and esprit de corps we can meet all challenges effectively and comprehensively.
Earlier, on arrival at PMA, COAS was received by Lieutenant General Qamar Qamar Javed Bajwa, IGT& E and Major General Nadeem Raza, Commandant Pakistan Military Academy.
