Pakistan beat Canada in first match for Azlan Shah Hockey Cup

IPOH: Pakistan beat Canada in the first match of Azlan Shah Hockey Cup by 3-1 in the Ipoh stadium of Malaysia today (Wednesday).

Pakistan’s Mohammad Qadeer scored two goals in the match which lead the team towards win.

There are three matches to be played today. The first one has been played between Pakistan and Canada. India will play against Japan in the second match and New Zealand will face the host Malaysia.

It is the 25th edition of Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup organized by Asian Hockey Federation in which seven teams are participating.
