RAWALPINDI : Vice Foreign Minister of China Sun Weidong, who called on COAS Syed Asim Munir here on Monday (22nd Jan, 2024), acknowledged endeavors of Pakistan towards regional peace.

The duo also pondered over the measures to further ameliorate the defense cooperation between the two neighboring countries. Sun Weidong stated that his country was satisfied on security arrangements made by Pakistan for the projects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

COAS maintained that Sino-Pak terms were founded on a common understanding of regional peace, stability and prosperity for the people of both countries.
