Pakistani Miniature Satellite iCube-Qamar Enters Lunar Orbit

HAINAN: China’s Chang’e-6 Probe has successfully launched Pakistani Miniature Satellite iCube-Qamar (weighing 7 kgs and carrying 2 cameras) into lunar orbit after reaching detach point on Wednesday (8th of May, 2024).

HAINAN: Chang’e-6 carried payloads from France, Italy, Sweden and Pakistan.

Chang’e-7 (scheduled to be launched in 2026) will harbor payloads from Russia, Switzerland and Thailand.
