KARACHI: National Flag-Carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced on Sunday (30th June, 2024) reduction of fares for Umrah pilgrims travelling from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi to Madinah till 15th July, 2024.

While return fare of those flights originating from Lahore and Islamabad will be Rs. 86,000/- (+tax), pilgrims boarding from Karachi for Madinah will get two-way ticket for Rs. 76,000/ (plus tax). Earlier, price of such tickets (including taxes) was Rs. 120,000/-

Saudi Arabia plans to augment the number of Umrah pilgrims to ten million this year and 30 million in the coming years.
