Plea bargain laws prevails all over world: Farogh Naseem

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Barrister Farogh Naseem on Friday said the law of plea bargain was prevailing all over the world.

The present government would not amend those laws of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which were being discussed on media.

In an interview, the minister said the NAB should have full authority for bringing the looted money back.

The plea bargain law was prevailing all over the world and due to this law, people usually return the money voluntarily.

We do want to bound NAB in any way, he said, adding the institution should not be toothless so that the process of accountability should not be derail or affected.

He said investigation process of the cases had made much better now as compare to past.
