PM visits Command and Staff College

QUETTA: PM Shehbaz Sharif, while visiting the Command and Staff College here on Friday (3rd of May, 2022) stated that Pakistan Armed Forces were not only guarantors of internal and external security and regional stability but were also contributing to global peace efforts.

Addressing the officers attending Command and Staff Course the PM said armed forces had always done a commendable job in service of the nation during natural calamities.

Paying rich tribute to achievements and sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces, he said that Pakistan’s successes in War against Terrorism were unparalleled, duly acknowledged by the world.

Shehbaz Sharif reiterated armed forces of Pakistan were very important state institution and pride of the nation.

Maintaining that country’s defense was sacred and Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and integrity would be ensured at all costs, Shehbaz Sharif said the Nation owed its freedom to monumental sacrifices of its heroes and martyrs.

Earlier, on arrival at Command and Staff College the Prime Minister laid floral wreath on Shahuada monument to pay homage to martyrs of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday arrived here for a day-long visit of Balochistan.

The prime minister was received by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizinjo, Provincial Minister Muhammad Khan Lehri and senior officials including Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili and Inspector General Frontier Constabulary at Quetta Airport.

The prime minister’s day-long busy schedule also included inauguration of Gwadar East Bay Expressway, aerial view of the Gwadar Port and an address to the local notables and fishermen.
