ISLAMABAD: While PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was in the court room on Saturday (13th of Jan, 2024) attending the ECP hearing regarding the party’s electoral symbol (Bat) he told the CJP that masked men reached his house in four pickups, beaten his sons/nephews and took a computer/documents with them.
Gohar Ali Khan, informing the court of the incident asked the court to excuse him from hearing, and left the court room.
According to a video posted on X@PTIOfficial: “PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar’s house has been raided by unknown men, who came in 4 vans, assaulted his family members including his son and nephew, and took away his laptops and documents.”

Later a video was posted on X @PTI Official saying: “Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Khan’s house was illegally raided and vandalized in his absence. His children and wife were beaten, and house help harassed and tortured… .”

Meanwhile, Islamabad Police took to the Twitter to state: “On a tip-off, the police reached a house in search of the proclaimed offenders.
“On reaching there, it was found that the said house belongs to Barrister Gohar. And the police came back.”
Police, asserting that it was a routine operation, negated the allegation that PTI Chairman’s sons and nephews were beaten-up or any documents were confiscated.
After the departure of Barrister Gohar, CJP said ‘nothing like this should happen’ to the Additional Attorney General, who left the court to figure out the truth about the incident.
