PTI govt. completes one year today under PM Imran Khan ‘s leadership!

ISLAMABAD: PTI Government has complete its one year today under the leadership of PM Imran Khan.

During this period what the common man has experienced is the shrinking value of his money (rupee) against US $ that has become almost 100 % pricier.. While value of their wealth has been reduced to half the masses have been forced to get into tax net. Meanwhile, all those who mustered-up billions had been given a chance to whitewash their assets by means of an amnesty scheme. 

Moreover, the prices of fuel have been augmented repeatedly (despite reduction of the Oil price in the global market as a result the cost of transport, medicine, edibles (including flat bread roti and paratha, milk etc) have augmented considerably.

Nevertheless, the government claims that it had successfully put the country’s economy on the right track by bringing reforms in FBR, acquiring economic assistance from  IMF and friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE and China. PM Imran Khan met President Trump briefed him about the region’s state of affairs.  particularly Afghanistan and Kashmir. 

A ceremony to mark the completion of one year of the PTI government was held in here today. In her address, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said today is very important day as the government has completed its one year tenure.

She said this day was dedicated to struggle of oppressed Kashmiri brothers and sisters for their right to self-determination. According to her government had in a short period of one year corrected the course: “The PM has achieved historic electoral success after a political struggle of 22 years and his vision is to transform Pakistan on the principles of State of Madinah with characteristics of merit, justice, rule of law, social welfare and austerity.”

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan stated that under this vision, reforms were being introduced in all government ministries and institutions and PM was personally supervising the reforms agenda of the government, “noticeable improvements have been made in postal services, NHA, railways, and many other government departments.”

She said reforms had been brought in PTV and it was becoming a profitable institution now.She told the links between APP are being increased with international news agencies so that it projects positive image of Pakistan abroad: “Through our policies and reforms process, we will also turn Radio Pakistan into a profitable institution so that it truly becomes voice of 220 million people,” she held.  

In the backdrop of Kashmir situation Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeem-ul-Haq held that Pakistan was passing through a turning point in history. Maintaining that the whole nation was united over protesting the unilateral and illegal act of India he stated: “The government will take every step to help Kashmiris achieve their aim of liberation.”

Referring to domestic situation, he said when the government assumed power the economic situation was critical. Naeem-ul-Haq said Pakistan sought friendly countries’ help as well as taking austerity measures and a number of steps to ameliorate the economic situation. He spoke in detail about the scheme to provide houses to poor masses willing to pay Rs. 5000 to 15000 per month till they own the structure. He said that for large families in rural areas livestock would be provided enabling them to improve diets of their children and prosper economically by selling the extra product.
