QUETTA: PTI workers, who had earlier announced a public rally on Friday (8th Nov 2024) here at Railway Hockey Ground (RHG), to press for IK release, clashed with cops injuring 8 of them when they attempted to stop the marchers.

According to details overall 14 people got injured when clashes erupted between the police and PTI supporters following administration’s decision to cancel permission citing security threat for the party to hold a rally at RHG.

Police claimed that a car displaying PTI flag, harbouring activists ran over cops. workers also opened fire on cops. PTI had announced a public meeting to press for the release of incarcerated Imran Khan, who is detained in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
