MOSCOW: Commander of Russian Strategic Missile Forces Sergei Karakayev has reported to President Vladimir Putin apropos successful test-launch of Sarmat Inter-Continental Ballistic Nuclear Missile here on Tuesday (12th May, 2026).
Putin, while terming Sarmat as the most powerful strategic nuclear missile in the world, announced that Russia would deploy it for combat duty by the end of 2026. Sarmat has been designed to hit targets in US and Europe.
