ISLAMABAD: A FIR has been registered on Friday (13th Dec 2024) at Ramna PS against PTI leaders, including Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, under PPC’s sections 302, 324, 120B, 114 accusing them of murdering three personnel of paramilitary force (Rangers) during the last month’s D-Chowk manifestation.
Other PTI leaders, who have been nominated in the FIR, include among others, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Salman Akram Raja, Murad Saeed, Zulfi Bukhari, Rauf Hasan, Hammad Azhar. FIR further says that the plan to kill rangers personnel was hatched in Adiala jail by them and many inmates as well as under-cover cops witnessed that .
According to the FIR an unidentified SUV driver rammed his vehicle into personnel of the paramilitary force and crushed them to death at the behest of PTI leaders. Lawyers maintain that the deaths occurred due to road accident. It may be recalled that in the month of June last year the founder of PTI Imran Khan was accused of the murder of Advocate Abdul Razzar Shar. But three months later IK was discharged from the case.
