Today Pak COAS too, noting the tragedy in the making, ordered mobilization of resources in order to rescue the trio. But the 2nd day of Pak Army rescue operation terminated sans any positive results.

Pak FM Qureshi, apprising Icelandic FM apropos the ongoing rescue operation, assured that Pakistan would extend all possible support in this regard. Thórdarson appreciated the ongoing search and rescue operation.

Meanwhile, Sajid Sadpara (son of Muhammad Ali Sadpara) has stated that it is impossible for human being to survive such cold at that height. He said that rescuers should now focus on retrieving the bodies of the climbers.
