ISLAMABAD: The 13-member SCP Full-Bench, headed by CJP Qazi Faez Isa, will announce its verdict on reserved seats case here at 12 Noon Friday (12th July, 2024).
Following 9 hearings, the SCP Full-Bench had reserved the verdict on Tuesday (9th July, 2024) apropos SIC’s appeals against the PHC verdict that upheld ECP decision denying them the reserved seats. In order to reach a decision, the judges participated in consultative sessions on Wednesday and Thursday (10th and 11th July, 2024).
Besides CJP the bench also comprises Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Shahid Waheed, Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan.
