MOSCOW: Ministry of Transport has informed, by means of its official website, that crude oil has reached Cuba Monday (30th March, 2026):“The Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin, carrying a humanitarian cargo of 100,000 tons of crude oil, has arrived in Cuba. The vessel is at the port of Matanzas awaiting unloading.”
Savants at the helm of affairs have noted that the tanker reached Cuba despite US blockade imposed by President Donald Trump, who told reporters Sunday ( 29th March, 2026) onboard Air Force One: “If a country wants to send some oil into Cuba right now, I have no problem with that…We don’t care if someone gets a shipment, because they need it; they have to survive.”
Due to non-availability of oil Cubans had to suffer from power outages.
