Saudi police kills ‘wanted terrorist’ in eastern Qatif

RIYADH: A terrorist suspect was killed in an operation conducted by Saudi police in the eastern province Qatif, Saudi interior ministry said.

The suspect, Jaafar al-Mobireek was a wanted “terrorist” and a member of Qatif cell which has been involved in a string of attacks on security forces.

Mobireek was hiding in the Shia-majority city of Saihat, in Eastern Province. The suspect was one of nine people wanted by the interior ministry and had been involved in targeting people and security forces and “vandalising public, security and economic installations.”
