ISLAMABAD: According to World Justice Project’s 2024 survey, (after Mali and Nigeria,) Pakistan is the 3rd-worst among 142 countries as far as Security is concerned.
World Justice Project utilises 8 yardsticks while conducting its annual surveys to gauge the level of security in the country, i.e:
1) Constraints on Government Powers;
2) Absence of Corruption;
3) Open Government;
4) Fundamental Rights;
5) Order and Security;
6) Regulatory Enforcement;
7) Civil Justice;
8) Criminal Justice.
Measuring three factors [1) Crime Control; 2) Protection From Armed Conflicts; 3) Use Of Violence To Resolve Civil Disputes] the World Justice Project has proclaimed that Pakistan ranked 140th for Order and Security.
