ISLAMABAD: Following the Senate election upset on 3rd of March PM Imran Khan has decided to seek vote of confidence from the Parliament on Saturday 6th of March through open ballot.

This was disclosed here by FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi during a Presser held here after PTI’s Hafeez Shaikh was beaten by Raza Shah Gilani who snatched the Islamabad seat. Conspicuous among others at the Press Conference there were Asad Umar,  Ali Zaidi,  Shafqat Mahmood, and Fawad Chaudhry, among others.

FM maintained: “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a political party that believes in freedom of speech. We take our members on board on every issue and take their opinions. It is not right to say that some of our members were disgruntled.” Qureshi went on to accuse ECP for failing to ensure fare elections as ordered by the SCP.
