KARACHI: “Sindh is a land of mystics, Sufis, poets and saints; the people of this land have created a peace-loving, inclusive and tolerant society. On this great cultural day, the United States wishes prosperity and peace to the people of Sindh”, said the Consul General of US on the Sindh Culture Day reception held here on Saturday (December 3) at her official FJR residence.

On this occasion Sindhi vocalist Ahmad Mughul’s songs were supplemented by folk musicians Arbab Khan Khoso from Badin who played the Al-ghozo and Sattar Jogi from Tharparkar who played Murlee.

This was the fourth time in a row that U.S. Consulate General in Karachi has marked Sindh Culture Day with a folk music concert and reception.us-sindhi-topi-day-2
