ZHOB (Balochistan): Six militants of the proscribed TTP, who tried to cross the Pak-Afghan border were gunned-down by security forces in the general area Sambaza here on the night of 22/23 January.

Security forces recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives after the operation. It is pertinent to mention here that Afghanistan has repeatedly been asked by Pakistan to ensure effective border management on their side. Pakistan expects that the interim government in Kabul will make sure that Afghan soil is not used to attack the neighbouring countries.
