KARACHI: The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) at a rendezvous held here on Monday (16th Dec, 2024) decided to cut the policy rate by 200 bps to 13 percent effective from 17th Dec, 2024.
SPB, justifying the move said it was grace a lesser imports, decline in food inflation and phasing out the impact of hike in gas tariffs last month facilitated this development.
