Suicide attack on Afghan army base kills 15 trainees

KABUL: At least 15 Afghan army trainees were killed and four wounded in a deadly suicide attack on their base here today.

According to sources when a minibus carrying army cadets was coming out of the military academy, a suicide bomber on boot targeted them.

It was the second suicide attack in the Afghan capital in 24 hours and the seventh major assault in Afghanistan since Tuesday 17^th of October, taking the total death toll to more than 200, with hundreds more wounded.

The spate of deadly attacks underscores deteriorating security condition across the war-torn country.

Newspakistan.tv has been told by sources that Afghanistan´s struggling security forces are badly dispirited by high fatalities and desertions.
