WHITE HOUSE: Addressing the nation Friday (1st April, 2026) from here, President Donald Trump described the Iran US War as a decisive, overwhelming victory.
Trump said: “My fellow Americans, good evening. Let me begin by congratulating the team at NASA and our brave astronauts on the successful launch of Artemis II, it was quite something.
“It will be traveling further than any manned rocket has ever flown and will very substantially pass the moon, go around it and come back home from a distance that has never been done before. It’s amazing. They are on the way and God bless them, these are brave people. We want to — God bless those four unbelievable astronauts.
“As we speak this evening, it’s been just one month since the United States military began Operation Epic Fury, targeting the world’s No. 1 state sponsor of terror, Iran. In these past four weeks, our armed forces have delivered swift, decisive, overwhelming victories on the battlefield.
“Victories like few people have ever seen before. Tonight, Iran’s navy is gone. Their air force is in ruins. Their leaders, most of them, terrorist regime, they led, are now dead. Their command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated as we speak.
“Their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed. And their weapons, factories and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces. Very few of them left.
“Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating large-scale losses in a matter of weeks. Our enemies are losing and America, as it has been for five years under my presidency, is winning, and now winning bigger than ever before.”
During his nineteen-minute speech, Trump claimed while negotiations were ongoing, US was getting very close to finishing the job in Iran: “We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We are going to bring them back to the Stone Age, where they belong!”

“Trump offered no new information to the American people and once again failed to give the public a clear rationale for his war, while he forces them to foot the bill to the tune of billions of dollars and causes their gas prices to skyrocket.
“Trump and JD Vance Sold voters on a ‘pro-peace, ’America First’ vision for their administration, but it was all bullshit. Working families can’t pay their bills, but are stretching their budgets even further while Trump gives tax handouts to billionaires, I am praying for the continued safety of our brave men and women in uniform, their families, and the countless innocent lives being put in harm’s way.”
It may be recalled that President Donald Trump, commenting on the 33rd day of War (1st April, 2026) took to Truth Social to claim that: “Iran’s New Regime President, much less Radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the USA for a Ceasefire!”
He went on to write: “We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages!!! President DJT.”
Tehran denies Trump’s claim: Irani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, terming Trump’s claim as False and Baseless, stated that the country had never requested ceasefire.
Shunning NATO: While talking to Reuters, the President said he was absolutely considering trying to withdraw the United States from NATO and will criticize the alliance…“They haven’t been friends when we needed them…We’ve never asked them for much … it’s a one-way street.”
Military Action In Iran: President Donald Trump, while talking to Telegraph, has insinuated that the US military action in Iran will end in two to three weeks.
