PESHAWAR: A ‘premature’ suicide-belt (harboring 5-kgs explosive material) explosion, on Nasir Bagh road near Board Bazaar here at 7am Sunday (10th March, 2024), claimed lives of two militants.

Bodies of two terrorists (identified as Salman and Amir – the would be suicide bomber wearing suicide jacket), alongwith the injured terrorist (Usman) were transported to Khyber Teaching Hospital.
According to details the three were proceeding towards their target (yet unknown) when the suicide belt went off.
Sources informed NPTV that all the three culprits had been identified by means of their CNIC.
All three hailed from Tehkal area of Peshawar and had at-least one sojourn in Afghanistan apparently to get the terrorism training.
It is pertinent to mention here that the dead terrorists were studying in a madrassa while the wounded one was a former madrassa pupil who used to sell bunkebabs in University Town area.
Condemning the blast, PM Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
