PM orders probe as UK court says NAB conspired to harm Broadsheet

LONDON: It transpired via ruling of the arbitrary court here that NAB  had deliberately conspired to financially harm Broadsheet LLC by entering into a settlement agreement with an unauthorised individual and paid 1.5 million dollars to his fake firm.

Case No. 12912001, Broadsheet vs Pakistan/NAB, was heard court with Sir Anthony Evans and the  ruling titled Part Final Award (Liability issues) was handed down in August 2016 under the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

According to details the London court had concluded that Broadsheet LLC was entitled to recover damages from Pakistan/NAB for the “tort of conspiring to cause unlawful economic loss to the Claimant by entering into the Settlement Agreement dated 20 May 2008 with Mr. James and companies controlled by him and/or in making payments to him or them there under.”

Meanwhile, today (18th of Jan, 2021) under the chairmanship of PM,  the Cabinet has  constituted a 3-member committee (comprising of Shibli Faraz, Fawad Chaudhry & Shireen Mazari)  to probe the Broadsheet  scandal. After reviewing the agreement with Broadsheet the Committee will suggest recommendations within 48 hours.

Taking to the Twitter Information Minister Shibli said:
