ISLAMABAD: COAS General Asim Munir on Monday (22nd April, 2024) discussed regional peace, stability and border security with President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.

The duo concurred on the vitality to augment bilateral cooperation while jointly striving for regional stability and economic prosperity.

COAS stressed upon the need for ameliorated coordination along the border to prevent terrorists from harming Pak-Iran relations.

President Raisi, who is on three-day official visit to Pakistan, maintained that by fostering cooperation between the two armed forces, Pakistan and Iran could attain peace and stability for the region.
