ISLAMABAD: FO on Thursday (16th Jan 2025), while rejecting the reports apropos annexation of the Wakhan Corridor by Pakistan, proclaimed that it was part of Afghanistan.
FO Spox stated: “Wakhan is part of Afghan territory. Afghanistan is a neighbouring country. We recognise its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“There is no question of Pakistan having designs on one of its neighbours. I deem it speculative and totally erroneous actually.”
