GAZA: Margaret Harris, Spokesperson of WHO, while commenting on the reports apropos Kamal Adwan Hospital being evacuated by Israeli Military has said Friday (27th Dec, 2024) that they were witnessing the targeting of civilians and health system here.
Calling it a punishment for the population Margaret Harris held: “What Gaza’s hospitals are exposed to is horrific”. It is pertinent to mention here that global humanitarian law dictates that health organisations shall never be attacked. But Israel and its allies are in no mood to heed what the international norms say!
It is worth mentioning here that the Chief of UNARWA Philippe Lazzarini, informed by means of X/Twitter that one child got killed every hour at Gaza due to Israeli attacks: “No Place For Children. Since the beginning of the war 14,000 children have been killed”.
“Killing children cannot be justified. Those who survive are scarred physically and emotionally. Deprived of learning, boys & girls in Gaza sift through the rubble. The clock is ticking for these children. They are losing their lives, their futures and mostly their hope.”
