12 criminals arrested in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested twelve criminals including five extortionists and recovered weapons from their possession.

On the direction of RPO Sargodha region, teams of Kot Momin and Mianwali police stations under the supervision of DSPs Fakhar Bashir Raja and Shabbir Gujjar conducted raids at Mela and Shahho Khelanwala and arrested 7 criminals.

The police recovered four rifles, 48 Magazines, a Kalashnikov, a gun 12 bore, two pistols and 1843 bullets and cartridges from them.

The outlaws were identified as Muhammad Nasim, Taj Naveed, Mudassar, Shahid Abbas, Sajid Hussain and Sarfraz.
Police have also arrested five extortionists including Kashif, Ramzan, Mureed Abbas, Ghulam Shabbir and Inamullah.

Police have registered the cases against the outlaws.
