Israel kills 4 times more Palestinians despite Pope’s appeal

GAZA: By means of latest bombs, Israel has deliberately augmented the rate of massacre and destruction four times as compared to the war before ceasefire.

Pope’s last appeal: Incidentally, the 88-year-old Pope Francis (who did not preside over the Vatican’s Mass, but) appeared briefly before crowd and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza on Easter Sunday (20th April, 2025) a day before he died.

Terming the state-of-affairs in the Middle East as dramatic and deplorable, the pontiff stated: “I express my closeness to the sufferings […] of all the Israeli people and the Palestinian people…I appeal to the warring parties: call a ceasefire, release the hostages and come to the aid of a starving people that aspires to a future of peace.”

Medics Killed: Israeli military, admitting on 20th April that they killed the 15 emergency responders due to Professional Failures and Violations of Orders, dismissed a deputy commander of the Golani Reconnaissance Battalion.

It may he recalled that Israeli troops killed fifteen rescue workers and paramedics, while they were heading, in marked vehicles, towards a site of attack to save lives, and buried their uniformed bodies in a mass grave, here on 23rd March.

Taking to the X Jonathan Whittall, Gaza-based head of United Nations’ Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, stated: “They were killed in their uniforms. Driving their clearly marked vehicles. Wearing their gloves. On their way to save lives.”

Statement from the Israeli Military held: “The examination identified several professional failures, breaches of orders, and a failure to fully report the incident. The examination determined that the fire in the first two incidents resulted from an operational misunderstanding by the troops, who believed they faced a tangible threat from enemy forces. The third incident involved a breach of orders during a combat setting.”
