VATICAN: After the passage of 5 centuries, King Charles III wrote history by becoming the first monarch to pray publicly with a pope during his Vatican visit Thursday (23rd Oct, 2025).
The joint prayer manifested the augmenting bonds between Catholics and Anglicans. It is pertinent to mention here that in the 16th century Henry VIII formed the Church of England and broke away from the Catholic Church.
